THRIFTY Car Rental Abu Dhabi opened a new branch office in Sanaya, Al Ain, last month.
Catering to both inbound leisure and business travellers, as well as to the corporate automotive leasing market, Thrifty now has a 24 hour presence, personalised service and brand new, quality vehicles for its Al Ain customers, who were previously served by the Abu Dhabi office.
“The convenient location is also staffed with experienced service representatives to assist with breakdowns and accidents locally,” said Khaiser Pasha, general manager, Thrifty Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
The government plans to invest in Al Ain to increase tourism while preserving its ecological assets and heritage. “We see great potential in Al Ain which is already a popular tourist destination,” added Pasha. “With the current economic climate, we expect to see people in the big local and international cities moving into the quieter, more affordable regions in the Middle East. The blossoming market will provide many opportunities, especially with the government planned investments on infrastructure, housing developments and expansion of tourist attractions.”
Thrifty also serves Dubai, Fujairah, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaima encompassing 30 full service outlets.
