Two hotel openings in the region will highlight The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company's participation at the Arabian Travel Market this year.
The premier hotel group will be opening The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul in Turkey in July and the Ritz-Carlton in Doha, Qatar later in September. The opening of these two hotels also opens up many opportunities for two destination holidays from Europe. Stephen Banks, Regional Director of Marketing for the Middle East, feels the opening has great potential when coupled with The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai. The Ritz-Carlton will be participating at the ATM for the sixth successive year and this year's stand will be 30 per cent bigger, "reflecting the company's confidence in the show". Banks said ATM was the most important show in the region. Not only was it a showcase to allow many potential investors to see the strength and luxury of the brand, ATM was also popular among Ritz-Carlton executives from as far afield as Washington, California and Singapore, destinations which are all popular with the outbound Middle Eastern market.
