REINFORCING its commitment to the region’s hospitality industry, Safir International Hotel Management (SIHM) will have a major presence at the Arabian Travel Market.
The hotel is determined to build its global brand presence following recent key property openings and ongoing expansion plans. With over 17 properties in the region, SIHM will use its presence at the ATM to strengthen strategic alliances with tour operators, travel agents and internet travel providers (ecommerce) while highlighting its current corporate status and system size.
Speaking about SIHM participation at ATM, Fawzi Mussalam, vice chairman SIHM, CEO Kuwait Hotel Group Company said, “The show provides us with a platform to communicate to the leaders and decision-makers of the world’s top travel, tourism and hospitality industries. It will give us a chance to not only showcase our achievements but will also add value and generate positive awareness towards SIHM.”
“In 2009 we will launch our latest properties in Iraq, Qatar and Oman and this will be a good opportunity to promote these properties,” he said.
SIHM properties also boost religious tourism throughout the region with its hotel properties having prominent and strategic locations from various historical monuments and holy shrines.
At ATM, SIHM executives will profile the various hotel’s properties, luxurious accommodation, new property developments, exciting entertainment facilities and dining options. The executives will also profile the state of the art conference and meeting room facilities equipped with the latest technologies available at all the group’s properties. SIHM executives will be at the Safir stand #HC 1430 at the show.
