Sofitel in Jumierah revealed at ATM

THE first Sofitel hotel opened in Strasbourg in 1964, and since then the brand has become a symbol of French tradition, with luxury hotels appearing in many destinations.
Sofitel Luxury Hotels now includes 150 properties, and details of the latest opening of the Sofitel Dubai Jumeriah Beach Hotel, due to open this summer, will be officially announced at ATM.
Recent openings include the Sofitel La Reserva Cardales outside Buenos Aires – its second hotel in Argentina –which lies on the edge of the Romulo Otamendi Nature Reserve. Only 40 minutes from downtown Buenos Aires, South America is becoming an increasingly affordable option. Each of the 159 rooms include a private balcony opening out onto the reserve, plus the resort includes three overwater bungalows jutting out over the lake.
Activities and leisure facilities include red clay tennis courts, horse riding, four swimming pools, an18 hole golf course and sailing, windsurfing and kayaking on the 20 hectare lake.
The resort’s Le Spa has an extensive range of therapeutic treatments, hydrotherapy pools, a sauna and haman spring and a
restaurant.
A great escape for guests is to sail along the Lujan River to ‘Isla La Reserva’, a private island exclusive to the resort’s guests set in the heart of the Delta del Parana.  The lush natural reserve has over 4,000 different species of trees.
Sofitel’s latest opening in China was Sofitel Wanda Ningbo, the 22nd Sofitel in China. Situated in the sea port of Ningbo 240 kilometres from Shanghai, the new hotel lies in the Yinzhou district, and offers 290 guest rooms.
