THE Dubai Chapter of Skål International will be represented at the ATM, and will be lobbying heavily for Dubai to be selected as the venue for the World Congress in 2011.
“Dubai is currently shortlisted as the host city alongside Helsinki, London and Andorra and by all accounts we are in with a strong chance,” said Amit Arora, president of Skål Dubai Chapter.
The tentative date for the World Congress 2011 is September 6 to 10. The event is expected to bring more than 1,500 international delegates to Dubai for a five day programme. Skål Dubai are at stand UAE 1460, and members are encouraged to use the stand as a meeting point during the event. Skål is a professional organisation of tourism leaders around the world, promoting global tourism and friendship.
