Air France-KLM group increases Teheran flights

THE Air France-KLM group will in summer 2009 offer 75 weekly flights out of 10 stations in the Gulf region, which is a four per cent increase of weekly flights compared to previous year.
 In Teheran the operations will go up from four to five flights per week. The number of flights out of Muscat will increase from 5 to 6 per week and will be operated with a short stop in Abu Dhabi.
In Kuwait the operations will go up from 5 to 7 flights per week, In Bahrain the group will operate seven flights per week, out of which three will be operated via Kuwait instead of Abu Dhabi.
In the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar the summer schedule is equal to 2008 with in total 28 weekly frequencies out of Dubai and Abu Dhabi, 17 weekly flights out of Dammam, Riyadh and Jeddah and 5 weekly flights out of Doha.
Abu Dhabi will become a fully non-stop KLM operation with 6 flights per week.

We especially welcome our nonstop flights to Abu Dhabi, which will be attractive to our business travellers,” said Bas Gerressen, Air France KLM commercial director for the Gulf region, Iran & Pakistan.
