One&Only opens ahead of schedule

One&Only Cape Town will open on April 3  – six months earlier than expected.
With a prime location on the city’s waterfront, it has views of two World Heritage sites – Robben Island and Table Mountain. Described by One&Only as the group’s first urban resort, it has 91 rooms in a seven storey waterfront complex and 40 villa style suites on an island within the waterfront marina, restaurants that include Nobu and Gordon Ramsey’s Maze, an art gallery, business facilities and a kids’ club. Each of the resort’s rooms and suites, with a minimum size of 60 sq m, will have either a private terrace or balcony. Two suites will offer their own ensuite spa treatment rooms.
The resort’s main pool area, located on one of two private islands, will feature a 350 sq m freeform, infinity edge swimming pool. The resort will also feature a range of spa facilities located on a second island, with the most comprehensive and expansive spa in Cape Town.  At 1,200 sq m, the One&Only Spa will offer 12 treatment villas. Two vitality pools complement the scenic relaxation spaces, sauna and steam rooms as well as a full service hair salon and pedicure and manicure facilities.
