Kaddouri takes over new position 
Omer Kaddouri, formerly area vice president for Dubai & Northern Emirates has taken over as senior vice president – UAE operations with the Rotana group.
Kaddouri has worked with the company for over 10 years and also held the role of general manager of the Al Bustan Rotana before taking charge in his new role.
Aoun takes charge at Nojoum 
Nojoum Hospitality has appointed Pierre Aoun as general manager for Nojoum Group of Hotels and Hotel Apartments. Aoun brings with him over 30 years of experience gained from global hotel chains in the Middle East and Europe including InterContinental Hotels and Marriot Hotels. His new role will be to drive business forward and grow the company’s market share through innovative strategies.
New address for Key 
The Address Hotels & Resorts has appointed Oliver Key as general manager of The Address, Dubai Marina. Key was previously hotel manager with The Fairmont Hotel, Dubai, and has worked with the same group for the last ten years in Hawaii, San Francisco and at The Plaza in New York City. He has worked at director level positions in food and beverage, banquet operations and private dining.
ADNEC and Starwood appoints Auweele
Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company and Starwood Hotels and Resorts announced the appointment of Stephan Vanden Auweele as the general manager of the first Aloft hotel in the Middle East. Auweele, who has extensive experience in opening and managing hotels around the world, will spearhead the innovative 4 star hotel currently under construction.
Hyatt Regency appoints Beveridge
Hyatt Regency Dubai has announced the appointment of John Beveridge as the new general manager. Beveridge started his career at the Hyatt Regency Dubai in 1982, before
being posted to Hyatt Regency Riyadh as executive sous chef. He climbed his way to the role of general manager with the Hyatt Regency Pusan in South Korea in 1992.
New faces at Corinthia
Mounir Sami (left), previously general manager of the Corinthia Bab Africa Hotel in Tripoli, Libya, has been appointed general manager of the Corinthia Hotel St George’s Bay Malta and joins the hotel following a long international career in senior hotel management. Jonathan Pace, previously deputy general manager at the Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa in Attard, has been appointed general manager of the Marina Hotel at the Corinthia Beach Resort.
Hick moves to Accor
Olivier Hick has been appointed director of operations with the Accor Hospitality Tunisia. He has been with the Accor Group for 22 years.  He brings with him a wealth of experience gained over several international postings he has been exposed to, working with various nationalities from French Polynesia, Sierra Leone, Thailand, South Korea, France, Malta and Tunisia.
Promotion for Patel
Fairmont Hotels & Resorts announced the appointment of Alka Patel as director, communications for the Fairmont Dubai. Patel brings over six years of experience to her new role. She joined Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in 2003 as public relations assistant at The Fairmont Royal York in Toronto, Canada. In 2006, she was promoted to public relations manager and a year later joined the Fairmont Dubai as public relations manager.
Towers Rotana Dubai appoints Wen
Coco Wen has been appointed as the new executive assistant manager at the Towers Rotana Dubai. Holding a degree from the International Hotel Management Institute in Switzerland, Coco brings with her 12 years of international experience including Taiwan, China and Abu Dhabi. Her new position will help strengthen and enhance the guest experience.
New faces in Cairo hotel
InterContinental Cairo CityStars recently announced the appointment of Michael Ibrahim (right) as director of Food & Beverage. Ibrahim brings with him experience in various management roles including director of F&B, director of operations, assistant GM and executive assistant manager with companies including Ritz–Carlton, Marriott, Hyatt and Accor. The hotel has also appointed Rosita Hartley as director of housekeeping.
New role for Kenyon
Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi has appointed Donna Kenyon as recreation manager of the Beach Club. Kenyon, a British national, brings with her more than 12 years experience in the Fitness & Leisure industry. She was previously recreation manager at the Towers Rotana, Dubai. She has also worked as dive instructor & underwater photographer in the Cayman Islands.|
Rosewood appoints chef Probst
Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has appointed Simon Probst as chef de cuisine for The Globe, the restaurant that overlooks Riyadh with panoramic views from atop Al Faisaliah Tower. Probst, who has more than a decade of experience in Michelin-starred restaurants across Europe, will oversee the culinary direction for the hotel’s acclaimed restaurant. Probst takes the helm of one of the world’s most distinguished restaurants and dining experiences. 
New chef at InterContinental Mzaar
Roni Dona is now executive chef at the InterContinental Mzaar. He was previously executive chef at the Crowne Plaza Amman. Dona joined InterContinental Hotels Group in 1995, expanding his career through different hotels including InterContinental Le Vendome Beirut, Crowne Plaza Hamra, InterContinental Mzaar Lebanon and Crowne Plaza Amman.
Palm Aviation appoints Saideh
Palm Aviation has appointed Mohammad Saideh as executive vice president and chief marketing officer. Saideh joins Palm Aviation from SR Technics where he was Middle East regional sales director for the largest independent MRO business. He has also operated as a consultant to the business jet sector, working across a range of aircraft manufacturers and types, as well as business jet operators.
Six Senses appoints Sertic
Victoria Sertic has been appointed regional director of sales and marketing for Thailand for all the Six Senses properties  Her responsibilities also include Six Senses projects under development in the region, including Soneva Kiri in south-eastern Thailand. Sertic joins Six Senses after six years with Thomas Cook, where she held the position of regional contracts manager. She started her hospitality career with The Hermes Travel Group.
