HospitalityTech 2009 will be providing timely and relevant information to the highest level of delegates in the hospitality, travel and MICE industries from April 20 to 21 this year at The Palace Hotel, Old Town, Dubai.
Artaaj, an events and exhibitions promotions and marketing company, has launched the exhibition for the first time. It believes that in the Middle East and Asia, the hospitality, tourism and MICE industries are still experiencing growth unmatched anywhere in the world.
It states that over 100 individual new projects worth more than $70 billion are currently either under construction or are planned in the UAE. Hotels and related leisure, travel and tourism facilities make up most of these, which makes information technology and solutions crucial to this development, “supporting the rapid growth and ever changing needs of the more sophisticated end-user.”
The summit will offer best practice industry awards as well as a discreet environment for cultivating business relationships and networking. Focused discussion groups and pre-arranged business meetings will complement the speaker programme delivered by industry leaders.
Speakers at the HospitalityTech technology summit so far include conference moderator Naseem Javed, president ABC Namebank International; Samir Daqqaq, vice president global sales, Middle East & Africa, Marriott International; Leo Fewtrell, general manager, Dubai Travel & Tour Agents Group; Kyle Stubbs, telecommunication and core services manager, Accor Asia Pacific and Jitendra Jain, eCommerce Manager, Mina Seyahi Complex, Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
