Free nights from Egypt Hiltons
Middle East travellers looking to experience the magic of Egypt over the upcoming holiday period can now enjoy extra nights for free. The new promotion, ‘Egyptian Magical Nights’, is available at eight Hilton Family Hotels in Egypt and runs from December 1 to January 31, 2009.  A three night consecutive stay will earn travellers one additional complimentary night. For five nights booked, guests will receive an extra two nights’ stay. Guests can choose from the participating hotels Conrad Cairo, Ramses Hilton, Hilton Pyramids Golf Resort, Hilton Alexandria Green Plaza, Hilton Hurghada Resort, Hilton Sharm El Sheikh Fayrouz Resort, Hilton Sharm Dreams Resort and Hilton Sharm Waterfalls Resort.

Holiday Inn Express Jumeirah opens
InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) in partnership with Ishraq Gulf Real Estate Holding officially opened Holiday Inn Express Jumeirah, making it the third Express property to open in Dubai following last year’s announcement of the worldwide re launch of the Holiday Inn brand family. The Jumeirah property has 193 rooms offering a pillow menu option and enhanced en-suite facilities. The hotel also provides a fitness centre, restaurant, a bar and two meeting rooms. It will be operated by Ishraq Hospitality Management.

Nakheel Hotels eyeing Asia, ME markets
Nakheel Hotels has moved away from US hotel investments and is targeting markets in Asia and the Middle East, according to a Gulf News report. Nakheel Hotels acquired a 50 per cent stake in the famous resort for $375 million from Fontainebleau Resorts, a privately held, Las Vegasbased resort developer. “Miami, as one of the US’ major gateways, has been a key target, which we are pleased to have now gained,’ Joe Sita, Nakheel Hotels CEO was quoted as saying. Miami Nakheel Hotels is keen to cash in on the current global credit crisis to boost their portfolio of investments around the world.

Online in Bahrain
The public relations and marketing department of Intercontinental Regency Bahrain has launched its newly active promotion e-mail Web campaign. The site’s primary objective is to reach its clientele electronically, enabling the users a friendly interactive and informative gateway according to Roberto Mani, director of sales and marketing of Intercontinental Regency Bahrain. Clientele need to register in order to receive Intercontinental Regency Bahrain updates. There will be monthly online raffle draws where registered users have the chance to win dinners and weekend stays in IHG hotels. Clients can also book a table in any outlets online.
