Saudi Arabia’s Leading Business Hotel as well as its Leading Hotel went to Al Faisaliah Hotel (A Rosewood Hotel), Riyadh.
The five luxury star establishment has a well known reputation for its round-the-clock butler service as well as exceptional concierge and valet services.
The Lord Norman Foster designed structure, soaring 874 feet upwards, was Saudi Arabia’s first skyscraper and is an outstanding landmark in Riyadh. Equally impressive, the hotel’s spectacular glass wall, created by renowned British artist Brian Clark, was the largest ever produced.
Its 197 room and 27 suites have been furnished with sophistication and elegance, with many in room amenities. There is also a Royal Suite, complete with four poster master king bedded room,  a private dining room for up to 10 guests, bathrooms with separate steam showers and a sunken Jacuzzi.
It had three nominations in this year’s World Travel Awards, the third being for the Middle East’s Leading Hotel – it was pipped at the post by the Burj-al-Arab.
