Media Rotana set to open its doors

Media Rotana, due to open next month, is Rotana Hotels’ first property in Dubai’s Barsha South area. Strategically located in the heart of the city’s new business hub off Sheikh Zayed Road, and opposite Dubai Media City and Internet City, the hotel is within easy reach of the Dubai Convention and Exhibition Centre, Financial City, Dubai city centre and the Dubai International Airport.

Media Rotana has 460 guest rooms designed with international flair to suit guests seeking privacy, personalised service and quality during their stay. The hotel tower includes 122 classic rooms, 102 premium rooms, 20 classic suites and 20 premium suites while the apartment tower comprises 39 classic studios, 39 premium studios, 79 classic one bedroom apartments, 20 premium one bedroom apartments and 19 classic two bedroom apartments. Each room, suite and apartment has modern accessories and is equipped with a fully interactive multi-channel 32” TV, direct Internet access, tea and coffee making facilities, daily local newspaper, IP telephony, mini bar, in-room safe, hair dryer, iron and ironing board and a mini fridge with a fully equipped kitchenette in the apartments.
Banqueting facilities are available, and the hotel also has 16 fully equipped flexible meeting rooms with the latest audio-visual equipment and wireless connection plus a business centre with secretarial support.
Recreational facilities include a Bodylines gymnasium, sauna, jacuzzi plunge, steam room, massage facilities and temperature controlled swimming pool.
Dining venues include Prego’s, a progeny of its predecessor at Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi, will now open in Dubai. Prego’s, a contemporary Italian restaurant serving authentic Italian cuisine, has an open kitchen featuring an authentic wood fire oven, wine bar and hip music plus a private entrance from the main road.
Channels, is an informal yet stylish all-day dining restaurant serving international buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner, where the guests can choose from various live cooking stations or from an à la carte menu.
Nelson’s is a modern interpretation of the classic Victorian pub offering a full menu of  beers and snacks as well as a large video screen and a sound system enabling guests to watch the English Premier League and other major sport events.
Connexions serves refreshments, light snacks, afternoon tea and home made pastries and the Aquarius Pool Bar offers casual dining and refreshments at the pool side.
