This summer the renovation work being carried out on the all day Le Jardin Restaurant at the Ramada Hotel Bahrain will be completed.
After extensive renovation started last year, the outlet will be expanded to accommodate more guests and it will be themed as an all-day dining bistro concept.
The Ramada Bahrain saw a healthy occupancy rate of 74 per cent last year and expects to see similar level this year, according to the hotel’s general manager, Hans Radek.
“For 2008, we plan to maintain similar occupancy level as in 2007 whilst following a consistent revenue management strategy to achieve growth between five and seven per cent in our revenue,” he said.
The hotel receives more than 75 per cent business travellers, whose main needs are to remain in touch with their offices and clients. “We have ensured that this requirement is met at all times by our enhanced wireless internet connectivity facilities which is available in all guest rooms, conference rooms and in the lobby – absolutely free for guests staying with us,” said Radek.
Among the business facilities offered at Ramada Bahrain is the Le Rendezvous Conference Room catering for meetings, conferences and corporate functions for up to 60 people. It was recently refurbished and contains new equipment.
The hotel marked 30 years of operations last year, with a strategy that Radek says is simple, “We are committed to creating caring experience for – every guest, every time.”
The Ramada Bahrain was one of the first hotels in Bahrain and is an established four star hotel. It features 119 rooms and four junior suites all moderately priced and recently renovated, additional non-smoking rooms and free courtesy airport transfers are valued additions for guests.
Besides the award wining Le Jardin Restaurant, F&B facilities include The Exchange Restaurant and Pub, 24 hours room service, the Oasis Pool Bar and the Lobby Café.
Ideally located in the busy Adliya district, it lies four kilometres from the city centre, Bahrain Financial Harbour and Bahrain World Trade Centre, and not far from the Bahrain Int’l Exhibition Centre and international airport.
While the Ramada’s worldwide guest loyalty programme known as Trip Rewards has yet to be rolled out in the Middle East region, the hotel is presently in alliance with Air China, Continental Airlines, Czech Airlines, Delta Airlines and Lufthansa. “Our guests can get free air miles if they are frequent flyer members of these airlines,” said Radek.
