Three industry seminars will provide this year's Arabian Travel Market with a forum for industry professionals to focus on a wide range of issue affecting them.

The seminars will also highlight ATM's reputation as being more than a travel exhibition, providing a vast array of networking, social and educational benefits making it an all-encompassing travel and tourism event.

To further enhance the educational value of the show, organisers Reed Travel Exhibitions have announced the participation of the following key industry associations and leading travel trade representatives Green Globe, SITE (Society of Incentive Travel Executives); ICCA (The International Congress and Convention Association) and lastminute.com.

They will host the seminars covering such topics as the impact of the Internet on the tourism sector, the growth of incentive travel and the effects of travel and tourism on the environment.

"These seminars will provide ATM with a forum for travel industry professionals to discover new ideas and innovations in marketing their products and services around the globe," said Lindsey Kavanagh, Marketing Manager for the event.

The seminars will be free of charge for ATM delegates.

They are:

  • "How to save money, improve customer appeal and help reduce the impact of global warming" organised by Green Globe on May 2. The key speaker will be Geoffrey Lipman, Deputy Chair

  • Maximising Your Meetings Business organised by ICCA with David Hall of David Hall and Associates, Adelaide, Australia, as the key speaker. The seminar will also be held on May 2.
