SHOPPERS will be able to win cash prizes worth Dh500,000 ($136,139) every week throughout the 10-week Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) – a total purse of Dh5 million is up for grabs during the promotion across 21 participating malls.
Announcing the promotion, Ibrahim Saleh, DSS chief operating officer said: “Every year, DSS has been growing bigger and bigger and today, it has made Dubai a major international attraction on the summer holidaymakers’ itinerary. It is a great example of concerted teamwork of Dubai’s private and public sectors.”
Commenting on this year’s promotion, Eisa Adam Ibrahim, president, Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG) said: “This year, we are giving away millions of dirhams to reward shoppers who patronize the participating malls and build on the success the event has enjoyed till now. DSMG is proud to continue its sponsorship of this exciting promotion and every participating mall in Dubai will ensure that this event achieves even greater heights of success this year.”
Shoppers will get one coupon for a certain amount spent on purchases across 21 participating malls in Dubai. Purchases made using MasterCard credit cards will automatically get three coupons for a required amount on purchases.
Eisa pointed out that raffles have become major attractions in both DSS and DSF, to the extent that many families postpone their shopping plans and wait for these events so they can enter raffle draws to win prizes.
The promotion draws take place every Friday.
