Silversea unveils 2008 world cruise
SILVERSEA has unveiled its World Cruise 2008, themed The Rhythms of the World.
Set to begin January 16, 2008, the 110-day voyage encircles the world and embraces the cultures of more than 25 countries and over 50 different ports of call. Departing Fort Lauderdale, the intimate Silver Shadow, with no more than 382 pampered guests on board, will sail through the Panama Canal and along the Mexican Riviera, through Hawaii, Micronesia, Guam, Egypt, Italy, Spain and the Caribbean before returning to Fort Lauderdale. Highlights include extended overnight calls in Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, Mumbai and Barcelona.

GCC scores high in WTM poll
THE GCC scored high marks as a popular tourist destination, according to a snap poll at World Travel Market, commissioned by Sama Dubai, the international real estate investment and development arm of Dubai Holding. In the poll of 200 investors, developers, hotel group representatives and consultants/analysts from around the world almost 70 per cent said the GCC’s appeal as a tourism destination was growing rapidly. According to the poll, the GCC ranks third, behind North Africa and South East Asia, in terms of attracting the most tourism investment. Within the GCC, the UAE scored highly as the most attractive destination.
COTTM partners with IFCOT
THE China Outbound Travel & Tourism Market (COTTM), the only business-to-business event dedicated to outbound travel and tourism in China, has announced a new partnership with the International Forum on Chinese Outbound Tourism (IFCOT), the leading travel industry conference. Gamsha Bay project unveiled
