Each of the 32 luxurious suites features a kitchenette, and all rooms have a state-of-the-art audiovisual interactive system that allows guests to monitor a wide range of services such as the internet, special promotions offered by the hotel as well as checking their bills. The guest rooms and suites are ideal places to work or relax, he says.
The hotel has been designed with the food lover in mind and has a number of bars, restaurants and cafes. The eighteenth floor Horizon Restaurant has a spectacular view of the Abu Dhabi skyline and serves an international open buffet, breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, as well as offering specialized theme nights. The Blue Line Bar offers live music and a panoramic view of the water-front and Abu Dhabi city, while the West Side bar and restaurant is more intimate with a la carte cuisine and live entertainment.
The Curve health club on the nineteenth floor has a sauna, Moroccan bath and massage therapist on site, as well as a fully equipped gym and rooftop swimming pool. The Curve sports complex is the right place to have healthy and low calorie food or try the chef’s special range of sandwiches, he says.
Moukhtar says that the Oryx Hotel is a strong supporter of government initiatives to attract more tourists to Abu Dhabi.
