Ramada Bahrain completes first phase of renovation

Now in its 28th year Ramada Bahrain has kept its promise to discerning business guests and leisure travellers with the refurbishment of 42 rooms, including all junior suites of the property.

Phase two and three will follow in 2006 and in 2007 respectively. The hotel’s vision is to not only maintain its excellent reputation but to be the front-runner in its category, explains Hans Radek, GM of Ramada Bahrain. “We are looking ahead, and after the completion of phase two and three; we will concentrate on the main lobby and entrance of the hotel,” he added. Wireless internet access is also being considered for later this year.
In addition, the hotel has announced the appointment of Saxena Prabhat as the new chief engineer. Born in Delhi, Saxena travelled the world and worked in places such as the Sheraton Abu Dhabi which won him the Award of Excellence. “I am delighted to be in Bahrain and look forward implementing the experience I gained in other part of the world,” he said.
“There will be a number of events this November and December and it will be worth it for visitors to the Kingdom to check them out on their next trip,” added Hans Radek.
