Four Points Le Verdun opens doors
Starwood Hotels & Resorts announced the opening of Four Points Le Verdun, its third property in Lebanon and the second in the capital Beirut.

Owned by Hotelier Verdun 5000 SAL, the Four Points Le Verdun will be operated by Starwood Hotels & Resorts under a management agreement. Four Points Le Verdun is conveniently located in the fashionable Verdun area, known for its famous multitude of shopping malls, eclectic nightlife and outstanding restaurants and bars.

ADNH receives ISO certification
ABU DHABI: Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH), Abu Dhabi’s leading hospitality group, has received ISO 9001:2000 certification for its quality management systems. Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI), one of the world’s most respected certifying bodies, presented the award. HE Khalifa Nasser Bin Huwaileel Al Mansoori, chairman of ADNH, said: “The ISO 9001:2000 is a significant achievement, reflecting our high standards, efficiency and effectiveness. It also demonstrates our commitment to customer satisfaction and employee training. The certification helps strengthen our business and image, and is an important competitive advantage in an increasingly crowded marketplace.”

Metropolitan teams up with Spinneys

Turkish Food Festival at Topkapi

Le Meridien Al Aqah boosts Rugby
FUJAIRAH: In a move to encourage the spirit of sport and further bolster its brand equity, Le Meridien Al Aqah, UAE’s premier family getaway located in Fujairah, has announced that it will sponsor the Dubai Exiles Ladies’ Rugby Team for all GCC tournaments. Following this, the leading international hotel chain will soon launch the Le Meridien Al Aqah Cup for promoting rugby in the region with teams participating from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait and Qatar. Elaborating on the strategy behind the sponsorship, Patrick Antaki, GM, Le Meridien Al Aqah, said: “Rugby is a rage in the Emirates and Le Meridien Al Aqah’s association with the sport will give it a vibrant appeal.”

New flavour at Mövenpick Bur Dubai
