THE Bahrain International Travel Expo (BITE 2005), to be held from May 9 to 11, will be a platform to promote Bahrain and the various tourism-related projects coming up in the kingdom in the next five years.
Travel and tour companies from around the world will converge on Bahrain for this international travel expo, being organised by Sunshine Tours as part of its silver jubilee celebrations.
The expo will be held at the Gulf International Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gulf Hotel. Details of the event were unveiled at the World Travel Market (WTM) in London.
“At a time when the government is encouraging more young Bahrainis to take up a career in the travel industry, the expo will provide a platform for Bahraini counter staff at travel agencies and tour companies to upgrade their knowledge,” said Sunshine Tours general manager, Abraham John. “BITE 2005 will also provide an opportunity for Bahrainis and residents of the region to check out various options with regards to holiday destinations in summer 2005.”
