Gulf Air has announced the expansion of its international network with the introduction of non-stop flights between Abu Dhabi and Birmingham commencing early next year.
The new route will be operated by Gulf Traveller, the airline’s full service all-economy subdivision. Flights start on April 1 and will be operated by a Boeing 767-300ER. This becomes Gulf Air’s seventh destination in Europe and is in addition to the five daily services to London Heathrow, 11 services per week to Frankfurt, daily services to Paris, Athens and services to Istanbul and Larnaca. The Birmingham service will commence with four services per week (Thursdays, Fridays, Saturday and Sundays) until June 20 when frequencies will be increased to a daily operation.
