Following the 2002 launch of British Airways Holidays on-line booking system, www.baholidays.com — the company has witnessed significant success in customer on-line holiday bookings, especially with its Arab customers.
The on-line holiday booking service has proved most popular with residents from Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
Regional first quarter (April-June) figures from www.baholidays.com show that Saudi residents accounted for over 36 per cent of all holidays booked online, followed by Kuwait with 23 per cent and Bahrain with 13 per cent. Over 56 per cent of these bookings were made by Arab nationals.
With the introduction of the www.baholidays.com customers are now offered more flexibility in booking a variety of worldwide hotel accommodation, car hire, sightseeing and transfers that meet individual needs.
