The Swiss rail network is an efficient and family-friendly means of transport

For the third consecutive year, RAIL Europe, Switzerland Tourism and the Swiss Travel System continue their unique educational incentive programme – The Swiss Travel Pass SuperStar – for the travel trade in the region. The aim of this six-month incentive programme is to support travel agents across the GCC by enriching their knowledge of Swiss destinations through an effective educational tool.

The programme is created to provide travel partners an edge in selling travel in Switzerland by public transport, using only one ticket: the Swiss Travel Pass. The main aim is to educate GCC travel professionals to be experts in selling rail products and the Swiss Travel Pass.

The Swiss Travel Pass SuperStar programme will run over a six-month period from May 1 until October 31 this year. The programme includes six modules comprising 10 quizzes in each module. Each module will be activated on the first day of each month and must be completed within 30 days. To participate, travel professionals from the GCC countries (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait) should visit www.myswitzerland.com/superstar to sign up for free.

Participants are required to upload information related to ticket sales (i.e. ticket number and date of sale) by the 7th of the following month. The products for sale include the Swiss Travel Pass, Swiss Card and Swiss Transfer Ticket.

Swiss Travel Pass SuperStar certificates will be awarded to participants who complete all modules successfully and register a minimum of 70 points (42 from the quiz and 28 from Swiss Travel Pass sales). Participants will get one point for 50 euros worth of ticket sale. Participants need to secure a minimum of 7 points out of 10 to be enrolled for bi-monthly prizes of Samsung Galaxy S7 EDGE 64GB, iPad mini 4 64GB and two Swiss Watches from Bucherer.

Top 10 lucky winners from GCC travel agents will be invited for the Grand Prize ceremony and enjoy the Grand Train Tour in Switzerland.
