RIXOS Hotels aims to increase its portfolio from currently operating 27 hotels and resorts to 60 across 20 destinations by 2020.

Spearheaded by its CEO, Bugra Berberoglu, the company plans to expand its worldwide portfolio to a number of key destinations internationally, the UAE playing a crucial role with a number of exciting projects to be announced. “By 2020 we intend to have injected a lot of investments into the UAE, adding to our presence in this part of the world and seizing the opportunities presented by its steady growth in tourism and other sectors.”

“We enjoyed very favourable occupancy rates at Rixos The Palm last year and a great first year for Rixos Bab Al Bahr, which we opened in February 2014. We plan to leverage this success with further developments across the country and are very excited by some of the potential opportunities out there.”

Rixos Hotels operate two resorts in the UAE: Rixos The Palm in Dubai, a 230-guestroom beach resort located on Palm Jumeirah, and Rixos Bab Al Bahr in Ras Al Khaimah, which boasts 650 rooms and offers the UAE’s only all-inclusive concept.

The Ras Al Khaimah property is offering special conference and event groups exclusive night rates and event set-ups from Dh800 ($217) per room.

“We take our guests’ expectations seriously and that reflects in the way we organise their events,” general manager Haytham Omar says. “Contemporary and flexible meeting venues combined with impeccable service and an all-inclusive concept make Rixos Bab Al Bahr an ideal option for event groups. Especially for those groups and corporations looking to get away from the bustle of the city and experience the more natural surroundings, which is what Ras Al Khaimah is renowned for.”

Inclusive in the rate is a complimentary mini-bar in each guest bedroom, access to Rixos Royal Spa and complimentary transfers to shopping centres in Ras Al Khaimah. Those travelling with families can enjoy access to Rixy Club, Teens Republic and the Animation Programme in the Entertainment Square.
