ESTABLISHED four years ago, hospitality and food exhibition Horeca KSA has a well-deserved reputation among exporters for delivering spectacular return on investment. Visitors at this year’s show had the chance to meet more than two hundred exhibitors, representing 20 countries across the world, promoting their brands and latest products over a surface area of 13,500 sq m, representing a growth of 60 per cent from last year.
For the businesses seeking new regional and international opportunities, the show provides an excellent trade and sourcing platform, where international flavours find world-class business, as it enabled global and regional players in every sector of the industry – from ingredients to finished foods and from food retail to hospitality services – to tap into this prospective growth. Held under the patronage of Dr Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, Saudi Arabia’s minister of commerce and industry, the annual meeting place for the regional food and beverage industry took place at Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre (RICEC). It gave visitors a unique opportunity to learn from industry experts, analysts and global leaders about recent trends and critical issues impacting the industry. More than 10 Lebanese companies showed a special participation this year under an official Lebanese Pavilion that gathered food and beverage producers as well as equipment and services companies.The next edition of Horeca KSA is set to take place from October 18 to 20 this year at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Saudi Arabia.
