THE Lost Paradise of Dilmun Waterpark was ranked seventh among top ten water parks in the Middle East at the 2014 TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Attractions awards. Less than 1 per cent of all attractions listed on TripAdvisor have received The Travellers Choice Awards this year, making Lost Pardise of Dilmun Waterpark among a group of exclusive winners.
“We are truly proud that we have received two awards from TripAdvisor this year alone – just recently a Certificate of Excellence and now the much coveted Traveller’s Choice Awards,” says Dr Essa Faqih, advisor, Lost Paradise of Dilmun Waterpark. Bahrain’s travel and tourism sector is poised to increase 7.6 per cent or about 10.2 per cent of Bahrain’s GDP this year as forecasted by the World Travel and Tourism Council. “The valuable contribution of the ministry has encouraged the leisure sector to contribute progressively in providing world-class facilities and entertainment for the entire family. This, in turn, has accounted for 45 per cent of leisure-related arrivals.” Senior public relations and marketing manager Cristina Fulgencio, said, “Now celebrating a successful seventh year of operations, Lost Paradise of Dilmun is continuing its positive outlook, seamlessly catering to a diverse demography of guests. This season we have launched mainstream shows and events, exclusive Saturday family mornings, revamped teambuilding corporate packages, all exclusive ladies’ night, in addition to the consistent upgrading of food and beverage and retail offerings, further enhancing customer experience.”
