The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Travel Awards gala night took place on May 7 on the final eve of the 2014 Arabian Travel Market, at The Conrad Dubai Hotel in the UAE. This year marked the tenth anniversary of the awards, which were inaugurated in 2014.

The Award programme is organised annually by CHA International, the Hospitality Consultancy Group, under the guidance of Dr Sam Saker, president and chief executive officer.

Since its inception in 2004, MENA Travel Awards has been honouring the top performers of the Middle East and North Africa travel industry at the metropolis of Dubai.

"This year the event has been a superior one and successful, it is the best in the 10 years history of the ceremony. The event has been gaining momentum year after year. Last year, the UAE National Council of Tourism and Antiquities had honoured us by becoming the 2013 MENA Award official sponsor," commented Dr Saker. Prior to UAE NCTA official sponsorship.
