THE $1.2-billion IMG Worlds of Adventure (IMGWOA), the world’s largest indoor themed entertainment facility, is participating at this year’s Arabian Travel Market, where it will share updates on the project.
Construction of IMGWOA is progressing at a steady pace – the development’s massive space-frame structure has already been erected and is offering a tempting glimpse of the epic destination to anyone driving past the site. In addition, the work on the roof and wall cladding is also in full swing and nearing completion. Located in the heart of new Dubai within the City of Arabia, IMGWOA will be the emirate’s first themed entertainment destination, spanning over 1.5 million sq ft of space with the capability to accommodate an excess of 20,000 visitors a day. IMGWOA is designed by the Ilyas and Mustafa Galadari Group and ‘Falcon’s Treehouse’ (the award-winning theme park design agency). A spokesperson from the Galadari group tells TTN: “As the leading travel and tourism trade event in the region, ATM is key to growing awareness of IMGWOA and is the perfect platform for us to introduce key elements of our offering to the travel and trade industry. Built around four exciting world-class themed zones comprising of Lost Valley – Dinosaur Adventure, MARVEL, IMG Boulevard and Cartoon Network, IMGWOA will breathe life into imagination-gripping tales woven around fantastic cartoon characters, iconic superheroes and pre-historic dinosaurs.
