THE Dolder Grand in Zurich, Switzerland, is to open a lavish new suite this summer.
The Terrazza Suite is located adjacent to the Golf Wing of the property. Set in a terraced construction, the three-bedroom residence comprises 390 sq m of luxurious living space and is especially suited to longer stays. Designed and furnished in a classic yet modern style, the new residence emanates an air of exclusivity with warm, harmonious tones and ornate fixtures. The suite has both a private entrance and an entrance leading off from the hotel itself. Upon entering, guests will pass through a foyer with access to an impressively equipped office with its Arzo Macchia Vecchia marble flooring from Ticino. A glass lift takes one to the lower floor, a spacious living area with parquet flooring. The open living room features parquet flooring and is characterised by a golden ceiling and crystal chandeliers. The integrated dining area is served by the private kitchen. A timelessly elegant seating area with sofas and couches as well as a bar both contribute to the cosy atmosphere. The large window frontage creates a generous sense of space, and the terrace provides a magnificent view over Lake Zurich.The Terrazza Suite has three bedrooms – each with an en suite bathroom. Flooded with daylight, the master bedroom features a dark red ceiling and ornate, golden decorative elements. Reached via walk-in wardrobe, the luxurious modern bathroom features a steam shower and a large whirlpool tub for two people with walls finished with a soft-brown, iridescent mother of-pearl mosaic.
