Seychelles’s annual carnival will be held this month (April 25 to 27) and feature top carnivals and performers from across the world.

“Seychelles Carnaval International de Victoria is arriving again,” says Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles minister for tourism and culture.

Speaking at a press conference held last month in Dubai, UAE, the minister said that the country was doing well and “experiencing continued growth in our tourism industry, which remains the pillar of our economy”.

The carnival, which is staged annually in Seychelles, is unique because it brings together some of the best carnival acts from across of the world to parade together, including cultural troupes from the all over the world, according to St.Ange.

The carnival will feature the Notting Hill Carnival from the UK the Brazil Carnival, Italy Carnival, the Dusseldorf Carnival of Germany, the Carnival from Trinidad and Tobago, the Carnival from Indonesia, and more.

Some 18 countries have also confirmed their participation with cultural troupes, including the US in the West and Bhutan in the East, the minister explained.

Now in its fourth edition, the Carnaval International de Victoria has Air Seychelles/Etihad as its partner airline for the first time.
