THE award-winning Conrad Bali launched a host of innovative family and wellness experiences at ITB Berlin 2014 featuring Balinese culture and art discovery tours as well as a juice-focused health programme.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the launch follows Conrad Bali being named Asia’s Leading Family Resort and Asia’s Men’s Spa of the Year at the World Travel Awards and AsiaSpa Awards respectively last year.Conrad Bali general manager Jean-Sébastien Kling says: “The family and wellness categories have both shown significant year-on-year growth and we continually innovate and offer guests new experiences to maintain our leading position in the industry.”Conrad Bali recently launched an extensively remodelled Kura-Kura Kid’s Club offering a spacious beachfront setting for a range of fun and learning activities to connect children and families with the local Balinese culture. These activities include Balinese dance classes and trips to local dance schools, chocolate cookery discovery classes including a visit to the POD chocolate organic farm as well as local art explorations, rice planting, Balinese mask creation and jewellery making.At Jiwa Spa, or ‘soul’ in Bahasa Indonesia, the luxury resort has launched Just On Juice, a seven-day personalised experience that harnesses the benefits of the island’s home-grown fruits. The programme starts with a consultation with the nutritionist who then prepares a customised regime. Just On Juice is intended to reduce weight and improve guests’ overall health. The holistic approach to the personalized regime includes yoga, organic cuisine, use of the 25-metre private pool as well as restorative spa therapies at the 17-room destination spa, a sanctuary on the resort grounds.
