The Olio Restaurant at Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel and Spa in Kuwait

JUMEIRAH’S flagship property in Kuwait, Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel and Spa, is all set to showcase its offerings at this year’s ITB Berlin.

“This will be the first time Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel and Spa will participate in ITB since the soft opening so we will focus on promoting the resort as the premium destination in Kuwait,” says acting general manager Hakan Petek. “We will also promote our comprehensive offerings for both the leisure and business traveller segments. We have a full range of luxurious accommodation, fun and relaxing activities for the family, fine dining and casual restaurants, award-winning culinary expertise, and all-inclusive business, conference and exhibition amenities. These make our property a great destination for a memorable family getaway or productive business trip.”

He continues: “We plan on introducing the Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa as a one-of-a-kind destination due to its beachfront location, proximity to the airport, local attractions and its full range of facilities, venues and services for leisure and business travellers. We are excited about the prospect of making the exhibition visitors fully aware of what we have to offer. Not only has the hotel filled a gap in the market by bringing the exceptional luxury and service of the Jumeirah brand to Kuwait, but it has established a destination within a destination.

“We do not target one particular sector, we cater for everyone, business travellers, families or a couple on honeymoon. Jumeirah hotels are well known both within the Gulf and internationally and having a presence in Kuwait further enhances the reputation of the hospitality industry in the region.”

The year 2014 has carried over excellent momentum and positive response from our opening last year, says the acting general manager. “With such a great start, we are confident about what we have to offer and expect significant growth for the rest of the year.

“Our most exciting plan for the UAE is the extension to Madinat Jumeirah, which is scheduled for completion towards the beginning of 2016. The new development will comprise a 430-room high-end luxury beachfront hotel. We believe that it will represent a major contribution to the Dubai hospitality scene and expect to announce further projects in the Middle East in due course,” says Petek.

Jumeirah Group has also signed management agreements for projects that are currently under development in Muscat, Oman and Aqaba, Jordan and expects to announce further projects in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and other key destinations in the Middle East in the near future.
