Stansted Express’ seven-day offer is a hit
THE new Stansted Express low-cost 7 day Advance offer has got off to a flying start with passengers welcoming the new product.
Customers booking seven days or more in advance of their outbound travel date will save up to 27 per cent on Standard tickets.
In addition to this, Stansted Express has introduced a number of new ticket products over the last 18 months including ‘Groupsave’, ‘Duo’ and Business Plus offering Airport travellers even better value.
Stansted Airport flies to over 150 destinations in over 30 countries worldwide and offers customers fast, modern trains with free wi-fi, free charge points and refreshments.
Reed acquires Travelweek Sao Paulo
REED EXHIBITIONS has acquired Travelweek Sao Paulo, the high-end travel event that introduces select international travel suppliers to premium buyers from across Brazil and other Latin American countries.
Travelweek Sao Paulo, launched in 2011, attracted over 590 international exhibiting companies from more than 70 destinations, 600 travel specialists from 19 cities across Brazil and seven other Latin America countries plus 2,000 high-end Brazilian consumers during the 2013 edition. The show will be joining Reed Exhibitions’ growing portfolio of International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) events.
The fourth edition of Travelweek Sao Paulo will take place at the Bienal Pavilion in Ibirapuera Park, Sao Paulo, from May 6 to 9, 2014.
Travelweek Sao Paulo joins the ILTM portfolio, which includes ILTM, ILTM Asia, ILTM Americas, ILTM Africa, ILTM Japan and ILTM Spa.

Qantas to promote luxury travel
QANTAS has announced the agreement of co-operation with The Exclusive Travel Group, to assist with promoting luxury travel to the high net worth (HNW) sector of the GCC region outbound to New Zealand, Australia and the South Pacific. The agreement comes four months after The Exclusive Travel Group, an inbound destination-management company designing personalised travel experiences to New Zealand, Australia and the South Pacific, expanded to the GCC.
Qantas, with new partner Emirates, offers more flights to New Zealand than any other GCC carrier. They offer an extensive network of international and domestic flights both to and within the Australasian region, and operate more than 130 services per week from Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington and Queenstown to Australian east coast cities from more than 65 destinations in the Middle East, North Africa and Europe.
Hala launches tours in UAE
HALA ABU DHABI, the UAE capital’s leading destination management company of Etihad Airways, has expanded its product portfolio with the introduction of tours and safaris services.
A range of city tours and desert safaris have been launched which are operated by Hala Abu Dhabi’s own fleet of vehicles. They include the “Hala’s Desert Sunset Drive with BBQ”, a gentle off-road experience in the heart of the UAE desert.
Customers can also select “The Story of Abu Dhabi” half-day tour of popular landmarks across Abu Dhabi, including Sheikh Zayed Mosque, Heritage Village and Abu Dhabi Corniche. The tour also includes a visit to the UAE Capital’s ambitious future developments at Manarat Al Saadiyat.
