Dream wedding package by Six Senses

Share

TO kick off the 2014 wedding season, Six Senses Laamu in Maldives has created a wedding package featuring two backdrop options for the ceremony; either on the white powdery beach fringed with palm trees or on a private sandbank surrounded by turquoise ocean waters.

Upon arriving at Six Senses Laamu, each wedding couple is welcomed by their GEM (Guest Experience Maker), their own on-island wedding coordinator, who will escort them to their villa. The couple then has the option of enjoying a Six Senses Spa Sensory Journey at the start of their celebration or after the ceremony, if preferred.

A traditional Maldivian Boduberu band accompanies the couple to the podium, where a fresh flower bouquet and a boutonniere will be placed followed by ceremony and the wedding cake.

Shortly afterwards, their GEM escorts the newlyweds to the beach for a romantic three-course candlelit dinner accompanied by drinks.

During their stay, the couple are also offered a romantic one-hour sunset cruise with canapés, so they can enjoy the tranquil scenery of Laamu Atoll.

As a keepsake of this very special occasion, a photographer is provided to record the memories on a photo CD, plus 50 prints. The couple are also presented with a framed wedding certificate.

The all-inclusive cost of this dream wedding package starts at $2,800++ for the beach ceremony, and $3,500++ for the sandbank ceremony. Package rates are valid from January 7 to December 22, 2014. Pricing is based on a minimum three-night stay, which is sold separately.

Six Senses Laamu is located in the southern Laamu Atoll and is accessible by plane and boat from Malé.
