Twelve staff ambassadors of Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa participated in the 2013 Bahrain Marathon Relay which started and finished at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir. Sofitel came first within the hotels category and fifth place overall out of the 153 teams who took part in the 43 km race. Proceeds of the event were donated to local charities.
