THE 2013 International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) will see a new feature area for hotels and individual travel experiences with planned launches and openings from October 2013 to December 2014. The dedicated space will be known as ILTM Débutants.
Those debutants include tennis champion Andy Murray’s hotel Cromlix and Chez Roux, a 15-bedroom Victorian mansion with a Chez Roux restaurant overseen by the legendary chef Albert Roux OBE KFO close to Dunblane, Scotland. The hotel is scheduled to reopen next spring, ahead of the 2014 Ryder Cup, which is being staged nearby at Gleneagles.
Alison Gilmore, senior exhibition director, ILTM Portfolio says: “Since 2001, ILTM has been the platform for the most exciting new hotels and high-end travel experiences to launch themselves. These new hotels and experiences have included destination pioneers who have brought the new and the inspirational to the travel landscape and included many unexpected, under-the-radar gems. This year, we have created ILTM Débutants, a focused feature area at ILTM to highlight these new and exciting products to the luxury travel industry.”
ILTM Débutants will give the global community of the luxury travel industry an opportunity to highlight their new launches to the world’s leading buyers and planners of luxury leisure travel itineraries in a dedicated space. Exhibitors will also be able to meet with the world’s leading influential luxury travel editors, writers and bloggers to gain exposure for their new products and experiences.
ILTM will take place from December 2 to 5, 2013 in Cannes, France. The invitation only event hosts up to 1,400 VIP buyers from across the world to meet with up to 1,400 elite travel suppliers in mutually matched, pre-scheduled appointments on a strict one-to-one ratio, to build relationships and luxury travel business communities.
