SOFITEL Luxury Hotels recently celebrated the inauguration of the Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe, a metamorphosis of Sofitel’s flagship Paris hotel as imagined by the Studio Putman, in collaboration with architectural agency IGLOO. More than 800 guests came out to fête the new Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe, just a stone’s throw from the Champs-Elysées, in the presence of Robert Gaymer-Jones, Chief Executive Officer of Sofitel Worldwide; Olivia Putman, Studio Putman Artistic Director; Béatrice Schopflin, General Manager of Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe; gastronome and restaurateur José Da Rosa from Epicerie Da Rosa; and Rami Mekdachi, who developed the hotel’s olfactive signature with the candle 14.

Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe features L’Initial, the 64-seat restaurant offering modern French cuisine based on fresh seasonal products from quality local producers and the grocery store-canteen concept José Da Rosa.
Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe’s location is ideal for organising events in the French capital. Sofitel’s InspiredMeetingsTM concept guarantees a five-star experience. Four adaptable function rooms – named after illustrious women who had an influence on Andrée Putman’s life, can be personalised and accommodate approximately 60 people.
