THIS spring, fashionistas can take advantage of retro inspired pieces at the exclusive Vintage Fashion Festival at McArthurGlen’s Designer Outlet Berlin. The festival will be held from, May 9 until June 1, giving shoppers the opportunity to browse and buy over 1,500 original accessories and garments by coveted luxury designers including Christian Dior, Gucci, and many others.
The festival, organised in partnership with Italian-based A.N.G.E.L.O., one of the biggest vintage shops in Europe, will also be accompanied by the exhibition ‘Around the World in 80 Scarves’. The unique exhibition showcases a stunning collection of original vintage scarves from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, with designs from luxury brands including Hermès, Fendi and Chanel.
The Vintage Fashion Festival was launched last summer, touring the five McArthurGlen Designer Outlets in Italy, near the fashionable cities of Milan, Venice, Florence, Rome and Naples before travelling to the newly opened Designer Outlet Neumunster, near Hamburg. The tour continued to Athens where the event proved to be an instant success with shoppers as they vied for exclusive, one-off finds, proving that vintage really is never out of fashion.
In addition to the Vintage Fashion Festival, the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Salzburg will continue to offer its great mix of the world’s most sought-after luxury, designer and lifestyle brands including Calvin Klein, Escada, Hugo Boss and Tommy Hilfiger.
Offering year-round savings of 30 to 70 per cent on coveted luxury brands, McArthurGlen’s fashion credentials are indisputable. Fulfilling the desires of style-savvy shoppers who want to stretch their budget to the maximum, without compromising on premium brands, McArthurGlen has continued to demonstrate its love of fashion through key retail partnerships, pop-up events and campaigns since introducing the designer outlet concept to Europe in the mid-1990s.
