THE Taj Palace Hotel Dubai will undergo a soft refurbishment of its facilities.
Ahmed Badawy, owner’s representative and director of finance, Taj Palace Hotel Dubai, said, “We have always maintained a high standard in terms of product, service and décor and believe it’s time for an upgrade in order to enhance our facilities. The main objective behind this refurbishment is to spruce up the hotel from top to bottom including all rooms, apartments, restaurants as well as business and leisure facilities.
Work on the project has already begun and progressing well.
“We have ensured that there will be no inconvenience or disturbance to our guests during the upgrade since there is no construction involved. Our focus is mainly on improvement of aesthetics and general facilities,” added Badawy.

The hotel will promote its upgraded facilities to trade partners and associates at Arabian Travel Market (ATM).
“Being the largest gathering of travel trade in the region, ATM gives us an excellent opportunity to talk about the on-going changes at Taj Palace Hotel Dubai,” added Badawy.
Guests will soon be able to discover the ‘new look’ across the hotel’s rooms, suites, apartments and public spaces including the lobby and the Taj Club Lounge. The Al Waha restaurant has also been rebranded to an authentic Arabic restaurant.
Badawy remains confident that the refurbishment will reap rich dividends for the hotel by boosting average revenue per available room. He stressed, “Research demonstrates that brands that invest in enhancing their customer experience always maintain and gain greater market share. A lot of our guests are already noticing the changes and are happy to see the revitalisation of the hotel”.
