WEBJET, Australia largest online travel agency has launched Lots of Hotels, a business to business wholesaler platform for the Middle East and Africa. The company was officially launched last month with launch events held across Dubai, Turkey and Kuwait. Launches in Saudi, Qatar, Jordan, Pakistan and Iran are scheduled within March with a target of reaching 15 source markets within a year.
Lots of Hotels currently has over 500 key properties that can contracted directly with an ambitious plan to reach out to the most demanded 2,000 hotels worldwide by end of 2014. The direct content includes both global hotel chains and independent properties, ranging from one to five star hotels.
Lots of Hotels also sources content from major third party suppliers making its platform the most extensive in the Middle East and Africa region with some 150,000 hotels and over one million hotel rooms available for sale every day.
“We are proud to introduce to the market some 10,000 beach properties with added extreme focus on religious, domestic and intra-regional content,” said CEO Ossama Wagdi.

Webjet has recently acquired Zuji, Asia’s leading OTA, and plans to feed Lots of Hotels platform with some 4,000 direct contracts in Asia.
