THIS summer, The Dolder Grand invites GCC residents to celebrate the Zurich Festival, one of Europe’s greatest performing arts festivities.
Held annually from June 15 to July 8, the festival has been an iconic part of Zurich since the mid-1990s. Last year, the festival received more than 80,000 visitors from Switzerland and all over the world. Along with its eclectic mix of theatre, opera, dance and classical music, this year the festival will once again be presenting a unique combination of performances, filling the city’s cultural venues and outdoor spaces with a programme full enough to keep any culture-lover busy.
Immensely popular are open-air broadcasts of productions from the Opera House and Tonhalle on the Münsterhof which are free to the public.
Located within the heart of Zurich, The Dolder Grand has packages that will allow guests a chance to experience the festival and the destination, also referred to as the “portal to the Alps”.
