LUFTHANSA German Airlines has increased its capacity between Frankfurt and Tripoli to daily flights from flying three times per week, boosting its presence in Libya to serve the growing travel demand. The daily flights allow passengers to enjoy flexibility in traveling to Germany or onwards to other destinations in Europe and North America.
Frank Van den Steen, Lufthansa’s regional general manager for North Africa, Malta and Senegal said: “Libya is a key market in the North African region and our aim is to increase services to accommodate the demand for travels between Tripoli and our global hub, Frankfurt.”
“Within two months upon resumption of our operations in Libya, we are in a position to serve more passengers with our additional capacity complemented by our products on-board and on ground. More flights mean more choices for our customers. From our gateway in Frankfurt, business and leisure passengers can rely on our extensive global route network connecting to 216 destinations in 83 countries,” said Antonio Tassone, Lufthansa’s general manager in Libya.
