The Radisson Blu Resort, Sharjah hosted an appreciation event which was themed and named as ‘Blu Barbeque Night’ on February 7, 2012 at The Palm Gardens of the hotel. The event was attended by different stakeholders of the hotel from Corporate, Leisure, Government departments to local media and the hotel’s cherished suppliers and supporters. Specified companies from different sectors were awarded namely Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, Sharjah Art Foundation, Sharjah Expo Centre, and Sharjah Immigration from the government sector, Alpha Tours, Royal Park Tourism, and Al Fanar Tourism from the leisure sector, American University of Sharjah, Emirates Techno Casting, Sharjah Kuwait Manufacturing, and Spimaco Addwaeih for the corporate sector, Barakat Vegetables & Food Company and Oman Insurance Company for being consistent hotel suppliers, and a special recognition to the Hotel Doctor – Dr. Sarah Eapen.
The awards were presented by Basel Talal, general manager of Radisson Blu Resort Sharjah to the representatives of each company.
