Yas Viceroy has announced the appointment of Oliver Bruns as hotel manager, overseeing the hotel’s daily operations and guest experiences throughout. Bruns began his career in 1997 whilst studying at the Bergius School, Frankfurt, Germany: School for Hospitality Education. As part of his study programme Bruns began an apprenticeship at the Steigenberger Hotel Frankfurter Hof, Frankfurt am Main, Germany as restaurant specialist. Subsequently, he was voted best apprentice of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In 2000, Bruns began a decade long career with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts that saw him hold managerial positions at Four Seasons London and Four Seasons Amman. More recently he was director of rooms at Four Seasons Great Exuma at Emerald Bay, Bahamas, and, Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. His last position with the Group was as hotel manager of Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza, Cairo, Egypt.
