Emirates Grand Hotel has announced Frank H. Owens as its new general manager. Owens, a South African national, brings with him a wealth of more than 24 years experience in the hospitality industry. He began his career with Gold Reef City Hotel Casino in South Africa as F&B manager. He held a variety of senior management positions including general manager of Lanzera Manor Hotel & Wine Estate in South Africa before moving to Dubai in 1995. His first job in Dubai was general manager of Moscow Hotel and later moved to Royal Ascot Hotel. He joined Emirates Grand Hotel in June 2011 as group general manager and area director business development.
