Featuring 336 guest rooms including 70 suites and two Presidential Suites, the St Regis Doha will offer a new style of luxury for Qatar

Set to open in early 2012, the St Regis Doha will be Starwood’s second St Regis property in the Middle East offering seductive interiors styled in modern opulence with magnificent architecture and incomparable service.

Steeped in Middle Eastern mystique, the property will feature majestic interiors overlooking the Arabian Gulf’s tranquil blue sea.

Set at the heart of Doha the St Regis will be surrounded by the towering sand dunes and ancient architecture that make up the picturesque landscape of the region.

'As one of the first St Regis hotels in the Middle East, The St Regis Doha will offer a new style of luxury for Qatar,' said general manager Tareq Derbas.

'We aim to offer the finest address in Doha, with bespoke luxury and service available for our guests whenever and however they require it.'

With a splendid heritage dating back more than 100 years to the grand opening of The St Regis New York by the esteemed Astor family, the St Regis brand incorporates rich traditions into every aspect of customer service, from its century-old butler service to the tradition of fresh flowers in every room.

The St Regis Doha features 336 guest rooms, including 70 suites and two Presidential Suites. All guest rooms and suites boast seductive sea views and second-floor rooms are distinguished by open terraces.

Continuing a century-old tradition, every guest at the hotel will be provided with their own butler for the duration of their stay, ensuring the highest levels of bespoke service.

Light airy finishes add to the feel of luxury and space at the property

The elegant facilities of the hotel include an array of delicious dining venues, a world-class Remède Spa, oceanfront cabanas and more than 4,000 sq m of meeting and event space, including the second largest ballroom in Qatar.

In keeping with the traditions of the iconic St Regis New York, The St Regis Doha has partnered with Jazz at Lincoln Center to create Jazz at Lincoln Center, Doha. The club will be a signature attraction providing its guests with the same exceptional standards of musical entertainment that New York enjoys.

Food and beverage offerings include Vine, the all-day dining restaurant where East meets West in a smart/casual atmosphere, fine dining at Opal by Gordon Ramsay, high-class modern Chinese cuisine at London favourite Hakkasan, the Astor Grill, showcasing the best of French and haute New York culinary delights, and Lebanon’s famed, award-winning Al-Sultan Brahim.

The Doha Vintage Bar and Oyster Bay and Bar, at the pool, offer casual dining options where guests can also enjoy the best in vintage beverages and cocktails.

The property is also home to the Remède Spa, featuring 20 treatment rooms, and boasts 160 metres of private beachfront.

In 1904, the first St Regis in New York set a standard of luxury that far exceeded anything previously imagined. More than a century later, St Regis will open its first hotel in Qatar aiming for history to repeat itself as The St Regis Doha sets new standards of excellence and service in the region.

Combining classic sophistication and modern luxury, the St Regis brand remains faithful to its commitment to excellence. Founded by John Jacob Astor IV the St Regis brand of hotels and residences is known for its unique luxury dimension, customised service and refined elegance in the best destinations worldwide.

Plans for the brand to globally continue its legacy include long-awaited St Regis US and Latin American hotels and resorts in Bal Harbour, Buenos Aires and the Riviera Maya. In Asia, St Regis has also announced plans to open hotels in Changsha, Chengdu, Kuala Lumpur, Lijiang, Sanya Yalong Bay, Shenzhen, Tianjin and Zhuhai.
