Rosewood Chef Wolfgang to lead culinary team

Rosewood Abu Dhabi, has appointed Wolfgang Eberle as executive chef for the company’s first UAE property, which is due to open in the fourth quarter of 2012. Chef Wolfgang will oversee the impressive culinary operation of Rosewood Abu Dhabi’s food and beverage offerings, which include a signature French Catalan restaurant, a Lebanese restaurant, a Majilis, and a lobby lounge which, according to Gert Kopera, Vice President of Food and Beverage, will become “the living room of Abu Dhabi".

With more than 29 years’ experience, Chef Wolfgang’s career includes Al Faisaliah, A Rosewood Hotel and Hotel Al Khozama in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where he served as executive chef for the past four years. Prior to joining the Rosewood team in the Middle East, Chef Wolfgang gained excellent culinary experience in kitchens around the world in Sri Lanka, India, USA, China, Switzerland and the Philippines.
