DNATA Travel outlets across the GCC have added exclusive Marhaba meet and greet services to their portfolio of travel management services for passengers travelling to Dubai International Airport.
Established in 1991, Marhaba offers a premium ‘meet and greet’ service for individuals, families and VIPs travelling to and from Dubai International Airport. This announcement enables passengers to directly book a range of meet and greet services, tailored to their specific needs, at any Dnata Travel outlet in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar. Until now, this service could only be purchased online or from Dubai.
Jon Conway, divisional senior vice president for Dnata Airport Operations, said: “Demand for this exclusive meet and greet service has steadily grown from GCC based passengers commuting to Dubai over the past year. We are very pleased to work with our sister company, Dnata Travel, to allow travellers the convenience of booking all their travel requirements through the one outlet.”
Marhaba handles more than half a million customers per year with packages for every type of traveller – tourists, families, VIP passengers and corporate business clients. Comprising 300-plus staff of various nationalities, who are easily recognised by their distinctive yellow jackets, Marhaba agents undergo special training in various aspects of the airline industry, airport operations and customer care.

A range of Marhaba packages is available from the standard meet and greet to the ‘city stop’ service for passengers in transit for more than eight hours who would like to visit the city of Dubai – this option includes a 96-hour visa, hotel accommodation, ground transfers and the Marhaba meet and greet service on departure.
