Insights signs Swiss destination

SWITZERLAND’S Crans-Montana Tourism Authority has appointed the of Insights marketing and PR agency to be the face of the destination in the GCC and UK markets.

Founded in 1893, Crans-Montana is known as the sunniest destination of the Swiss Alps and the one with the purest air to breathe.

A paradise for skiers, home of the 2012 Downhill Ski Men’s World Cup, and for golfers, home of the Omega European Masters every year since 1948, Crans-Montana is ideally situated on a plateau, perched at 1,500 m altitude and facing the widest mountain panorama of Switzerland.

A family friendly destination, it is a safe place to stay, to unwind and have fun and it is famous for its hospitality sector with 32 hotels, of which 65 per cent are rated four- and five-star luxury, and 1,900 apartments and chalets available to rent. Crans-Montana offers the most comprehensive range of sport, cultural, shopping and business infrastructures in the French speaking Swiss Alps, including more than 270 shops, restaurants and cafés, a conference centre, a casino, Switzerland’s most famous summer camp, an international hotel school rated amongst the top three in the world and a host of facilities and services available 365 days a year for tourists and residents alike.

Sion International Airport is a 35-minute drive with Geneva International Airport just two hours away.
