Funnymen PJ Gallagher (pictured) and Eric Lalor jet in direct from Dublin on September 22 to celebrate the founder of the famous Irish black stuff, Arthur Guinness. Arthur’s Day is a worldwide celebration featuring the best music and comedy and for the first time these celebrations will reach the sunny shores of Dubai.
McGettigan’s made history in January 2011 with the first four-day Irish comedy festival in Dubai featuring Jason Byrne, now two of the festival line are coming back.
PJ Gallagher is a household name in Ireland thanks to his award-winning Naked Camera TV show and Eric Lalor is an up and coming comedian on the Irish comedy circuit, making his name on a TV show featuring famous Irish funnyman, Des Bishop.
PJ Gallagher said: “Dubai is my new home away from home! It’s just like how I imagine Dublin will look in 2045! The McGettigan’s Comedyfest in January was unforgettable so when I got the chance to come back I had no hesitation to say yes.”
